Biography
Sangeetha Meena is a screenwriter and director known for her intimate character studies that center working-class women. A graduate of FTII's Screenwriting program, she was selected for the NFDC Screenwriters' Lab 2022. Her debut feature, currently in development with NFDC support, explores the lives of domestic workers in metropolitan India. Her short films have been acquired by MUBI and have screened at festivals across Asia and Europe.
